The Chicago Bears will hire Ryan Poles, executive director of personnel for the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Minnesota Vikings will hire Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, vice president of football operations for the Cleveland Browns.

The Chicago Bears fired former general manager Ryan Pace and then-coach Matt Nagy 15 days ago. Ryan Poles, 36, will communicate directly with team president George McCaskey. The Chicago Bears currently do not have a first-round pick in this year’s draft due to a previous up-trade that selected quarterback Justin Fields.

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s previous general manager was Rick Spielman, who, along with coach Mike Zimmer, was fired at the end of the season. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s first priority is to hire a new manager.

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who spent seven seasons with the 49ers, joined the Cleveland Browns in 2020. He has interviewed for the general manager position at Carolina Panthers in 2021 and this year at Chicago Bears.
