The Cincinnati Bengals recently had their first playoff win in 31 years, but for quarterback Joe Burrow, it was just the beginning.
“I try to understate it, because it’s just the beginning,” Joe Burrow said in a news conference. “It’s an excellent win, but it’s going to be an annual minimum.”
“I thought last year would be fine,” Joe Burrow said. “Unfortunately, I got hurt. Last year we couldn’t have been very good, but this year, that’s what we’re looking forward to.”
Joe Burrow lost his rookie season with a left knee injury, but this year led the Cincinnati Bengals to a North American title, a playoff berth and a win. He’s one of the contenders for the AP Comeback Player of the Year award.
Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor said: “His hard work and dedication has brought a high level and has allowed him to lead the team to success.”
