Former NFL wide receiver Ken Burrough dies

Two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Ken Burrough died Thursday at the age of 73.

Ken Burrough was the 10th overall pick in 1970, missed several games in his rookie season, and was traded to the Houston Oilers by the New Orleans Saints prior to the 1971 season.

Ken Burrough went on to play for the Houston Oilers for 11 years, finishing first in the league with 1,063 receiving yards in 1975. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1975 and 1977.

Ken Burrough played in 156 career games with 421 catches for 7,102 yards and 50 touchdowns. He ranks third in Houston Oilers and Tennessee Titans all-time in receiving yards and tied for second in team history in touchdowns.
