Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire will miss Sunday’s wild card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday with a shoulder injury.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire was in training on Wednesday but was absent on Thursday and Friday. “He tested (the shoulder) a few days ago and it wasn’t as fit as we and he thought,” coach Andy Reid said.
Backup running back Darrel Williams was also limited in practice with a toe injury, which he missed in the second half of last week’s game against the Denver Broncos.
In addition, the Kansas City Chiefs running back lineup includes Jerick McKinnon and Derrick Gore. The pair combined for 54 yards against the Broncos and Jerick McKinnon had a 14-yard touchdown.
