On Monday, reporters reported that the Los Angeles Rams will hire Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen to fill the same role on the team.

In addition, Greg Olson will continue to coach the team, and assistant head coach Thomas Brown will also get more tasks related to the offense and the team as a whole.
Liam Coen, who was an assistant quarterback coach for the Los Angeles Rams in the 2022 season, left the team last year to coach at the University of Kentucky. He won’t be in charge of on-the-spot play at the Los Angeles Rams, but working under Sean McVay will itself be a big help in future job hunting.
Liam Coen’s offense averaged 31.8 points per game last season, ranking fourth in the division behind Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. He will take over for an offense led by quarterback Matthew Stafford in the Los Angeles Rams.
