On Wednesday, the Miami Dolphins officially announced that it would claim the running back Phillip Lindsay, who was abandoned by Houston Texans on Tuesday.
Miami Dolphins’ current running back lineup includes starting Myles Gaskin, Patrick Laird and Salvon Ahmed.
Phillip Lindsay signed a one-year contract with Houston Texans in March of this year, with a salary of US$3.25 million, including a security payment of US$1 million. Phillip Lindsay has rushed 50 times so far this season, advancing 130 yards, one touchdown, and one catch touchdown.
Houston Texans traded Mark Ingram to New Orleans Saints last month. The current running back lineup also includes David Johnson, Rex Burkhead and Royce Freeman.
Phillip Lindsay initially played for Denver Broncos, rushing for more than 1,000 yards in the first two seasons of his career. During his three years at Denver Broncos, Phillip Lindsay rushed for 2,550 yards and 17 touchdowns.
