Ken Norton Jr., 55, has worked under coach Pete Carroll for many years and has been the Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator for the past four seasons. The 2021 season is a microcosm of his tenure: fifth-most in yards per game (379.1) but 11th in points per game (21.53).

Pete Carroll said after the season-ending game: “Our defensive start this season is still bad, it’s the second year in a row. Then we found the form and played good numbers. It’s a pity that it all came too late.”

The Seattle Seahawks have been propelled for at least 450 yards in four straight 2021 games (Weeks 2-5), picking up after relegating Tre Flowers to the bench and D.J. Reed returning to the right.

Andre Curtis joined the Seattle Seahawks in 2015 as a second-line assistant coach, focusing on safety. He was promoted to pass defense coordinator for North in the 2018 season.
