Seattle Seahawks trade quarterback Russell Wilson to Denver Broncos

After weeks of negotiations, one of the biggest trades in NFL history finally took place.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Denver Broncos will acquire Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and a fourth-round pick in a trade. The Seattle Seahawks got quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and one fifth-round pick.

Denver Broncos gets the quarterback he’s been looking for since Peyton Manning’s retirement. The Seattle Seahawks also get the resources they need to build the team. Once Russell Wilson agrees to waive the no-trade clause in his contract and passes his medical, the Seattle Seahawks can formally transfer him to the Denver Broncos.
