On Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers restructured their contract with defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, increasing the incentive bonus clause to a maximum of $1 million.
With the addition of the new terms, each playoff win will net Ndamukong Suh $200,000. But he also has to meet a few prerequisites: play at least 65 percent of the regular season defensive gear and improve the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ league/division touchdowns and fumbles and touchdowns rankings.
Before the game against the Panthers, Ndamukong Suh was only involved in 64.18% of the defensive files, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lifted the first condition last Saturday, and the latter two conditions are now determined to be met.
Ndamukong Suh has played all 17 regular-season games this season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his tenth straight regular-season appearance. He completed a total of 27 tackles and 6 sacks.
